We are happy to be able to advise you that the cost will be the same as last year, $23.00 per person; (includes sharing of Terrace Room fee, Traditional Brunch Buffet, plus required 8% NYS Sales Tax and 18% Gratuity). Considered by many to be among the best in the Finger Lakes region of New  York State, Springside  Inn continues to provide a 5-Star Sunday Brunch. Its’ location over-looking Owasco Lake, on-site ambiance, quality and presentation of food, excellent service, (say nothing of adequate and FREE PARKING) compare to few.

To round out our day, JACKIE KOMANECKY has once again extended an open invitation to the Class of ’56 to gather at her home following Brunch.  Dress casually.  Bring along your bathing suit, lawn chair, and stories to share since we last met.

Advisors

The Class of 1956 had two advisors; Mrs. Ida J. Smith, and Mr. Fred H. Gardner. Unfortunately Mrs. Smith has passed away some years ago, but Mr. Gardner was, until recently, still very much a part of the Union Springs scene. "By his able supervision in our money-making projects we have been able to be a successful class financially" is what we said about Fred in our yearbook. Many people who went through the Union Springs Central School System received their basic foundations in business dealings from Fred's classes. Thanks Mr. Gardner for taking the time.

We all had expected Mr. Gardner to be able to attend our 50th Class Reunion, but due to health and weather complications Fred felt it was best that he stay home. Fortunately we were able to capture his greetings to the class on video tape, as Fred passed away just a few short weeks after our 50th reunion.
